Titanium, Alloys and Intermetallics for Biological and Industrial Applications

The creation of this Bachelor´s thesis was performed as a search retrieval, which includes basic information about titanium and its alloys. In the first chapter is stated history of titanium manufacturing. Following chapter include the most important property of pure titanium, such as alotropic modifications of the crystal grid, chemical, physical and technological characteristics, there is also space, that is assigned for using contemporary division of titanium alloys, detrimental effect of impurity, shape memory effect and intermetallics instance. Third part concern about selected application in industry. The conclusion pursue about biocompatibility factor and possibility use titanium and its alloys in implantology and dental applications.

Impact of uncoventional technologies of soil cultivation on soil quality

Agricultural land is being handled by various tillage of soil which affects properties of soil. There are two types of tillage treatment. These are conventional (classic) tillage with plowing and minimization tillage (plowing is excluded). The aim of this particular work is to assess the quality of the soil near the village of Bohaté Málkovice, which is being (long-term) handled by minimization tillage. As indicators of soil quality, we used selected physical and physico-chemical characteristics, which are determined from analysis of disturbed and undisturbed soil samples from the top soil layer (0-10 cm) by standard methods in laboratory conditions. The theoretical part describes the basic physical properties of the soil and the ways of their determination. The practical part is devoted to the presentation of the examined locality and the results of selected physical and physico-chemical properties of the soil are presented and subsequently evaluated. In the conclusion, the impact of used tillage in Bohaté Málkovice on the selected soil properties is assessed.

Mechanical properties of titanium alloys

This bachelor thesis was created in a form of literary search and it summarizes the basic information of Titanium and its alloys. The most significant features, such as its position in Periodic Table of the Elements, allotropic modifications and their crystal lattices, chemical or physical qualities, are mentioned in the first chapters. The attention was also paid to both the mechanical and the technological qualities of titanium as such, including the effect of impurities that may be very significant. General and summarized information about the history of titanium, as well as current directions in the development of its alloys are discussed in chapter 1.3. As a following, the information about production and the methods used during the production are discussed in chapter 2. Distinct part of the thesis depicts the partition of concrete titanium alloys and the heat treatment of them. The TiAl6V4 alloy was described in details, since it is the most widely used, therefore the most often produced titanium alloy.

Assessment health/quality of the soil near the village Bohaté Málkovice

Diploma thesis evaluates quality and healthiness of the soil health located close to Bohate Malkovice focusing on changes in both physical and chemical characteristics of the soil in time. The theoretical part describes physical, chemical, and biological parameters of the soil. Selected physical parameters are structure, texture, determination of measured weight, bulk density of the soil, porosity, actual volumetric water content of the soil, aeration, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, infiltration, and colour. Chosen chemical parameters are pH, carbonates, soil electrical conductivity, and humus content. Picked biological parameters are microbial biomass, respiration, nitrogen content, and weed infestation. The practical part analyses selected indicators of quality of the soil from the location of the experiment close to Bohate Malkovice. The area under evaluation has been treated using reduced tillage for long term. The practical part is based on the laboratory examination of disturbed and undisturbed soil samples taken between years 2016 and 2018. Based on outcome results we can evaluate the quality of the soil considering plants growth, development, and soil fertility.

Assessment of soil quality processed with conventional tillage in the selected site in the Olomouc region

Diploma thesis documents the problems of soil quality, which is assessed on the basis of physical, chemical or biological indicators of soil quality. The paper describes the various indicators, its methodology and evaluation. In the practical part evaluates the quality of soil cultivated with the traditional way - using plowing. The experimental area, where the samples were taken from the soil, lies in the Olomouc region in the municipality Šumvald. Evaluated were selected physical, chemical and physico-chemical properties of soil, e.g. particle size distribution, bulk density, porosity, air capacity, hydrolimits, pH, carbonates, humus content and salinity of the soil.

Monitoring of Attendence at Physical Activities and Sport among Selected Group of Inhabitans

This bachelor's thesis is concentrating on the physical activities of ninth grade primary school pupils and their effect on human health in the next development stages. In the first part I state the theoretical starting points, which are linked to this particular issue. The second part I devote to the monitoring and results gained on the basis of personal questionnaires from several primary schools in the South-moravian region. The results are then interpreted to prepare a proposal for better lifestyle quality of young people with the aid of physical activities.

Corporality is Gods gift

In the following work I try to grasp the theme of body and corporeality as a gift in Christian conception. Thus, in its first chapter, the work itself will go from the basic presentation of the polarity human body and spirit, the sacrament of the body and its conception as a body created according to the image of God. Thus, the reader will be able to look into the sacramental dual unity in man, the unity of the body and the soul that is desired and desired by God, and who is eternal in God. The second chapter, following the introduction of the body as an inseparable part of man, will elaborate the given theme of creation of the body to a greater depth to the conception of the created body as a gift. Here, the compilation offers the reader even greater insight into the mystery of the body through the Christian perception of the gift. The character and purpose of the gift then eventually distributes the work in its third chapter, existing with the consensus of the previous chapters, by approaching human corporeality and body through one single pattern, which is the body of Christ. On Christ's body, labor shows that, following Christ and the Church, coming out of this body, man in his body is called to the same path, that is, the path corresponding to the path of Jesus Christ. Geographical Division of the World Ocean Abstract Delimitation of ocean boundaries has a big importance for coastal as well as continental countries due to economical, political and other concerns. Division of the World Ocean varied a lot in the past and significant regional differences of its concept were formed. Not only the location of boundaries but even the number of identified subdivisions of the ocean varied. Some oceanographic schools which don't recpect international agreements and delimitate their own ocean boundaries still exist. Thanks to that there are still many problematic areas where neighbouring countries arque about a part of the ocean. The prefence for boundaries delimitation is very important and often also controversial. Tree main oceans - Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Ocean - are traditionally delimitate separetly for what many reasons exist. Many authorities still doubt about the independence of the Southern Ocean. The publication of 4th edition Limits of Oceans and Seas where the Southern Ocean should be officially accepted will be very significant. Measuring physical abilities of students the elementary school

The aim of this diploma thesis was to measure the physical fitness of pupils from selected elementary school in Hradec Králové. From the obtained results iw was determined whether age has an effect on pupils'performance. Futhermore, the results were compared and on the basis of statistical analysis of the data a comparison of performances of 6th and 9th grade pupils and also comparison of boys and girls. The theoretical part focuses on the topics of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity, physical fitness, physical abilities, physiological and psychological specifics in older school children. The empiric part deals with statistical data processing and their evaluation based on the results in selected physical tests from the test battery called EUROFITTEST. Based on the results and their comparison, I came to the conclusion that in six of the total eight exercises, older pupils achieve statistically significant differences compared to younger pupils. When comparing the average results of 6th and 9th grade pupils, I found that in seven out of eight tests, 9th grade pupils achieve better results than 6th grade pupils. In the end, I found that the boys performed better on average in five tests out of eight. Girls achieve better results on average in one test out of eight. There are no differences in...
